Have you wondered what Florida is like at Christmas? Maybe you've thought about escaping the cold weather and enjoying Orlando in December. Here's a little guide to what you can expect.

Firstly, you may spot an Elf on the shelf at the villa! December temperatures are lower than the intense summer heat, but still very comfortable and warm with an average temperature of around the mid 70s (low 20s C). This is the perfect time to make the most of our optional pool heating, so you can enjoy a swim at any time.

Orlando is beautiful at Christmas. There is a real buzz in the air and the excitement is everywhere. Head on over to Walt Disney World for a truly unique festive experience. It's just magical at Disney with their stunning Christmas decorations and treats. Our favourites spots are the Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian Hotel and Disney Springs.

Another of our favourite things to do is visit Celebration town centre. It's about a 20 minute drive and you get to experience hot chocolate, warm cider, beautiful ornament shops, carriage rides and see the most wonderfully decorated lights in Celebration.

Our favourite park at Christmas time is Sea World! It is just stunning with fantastic lights, food stalls all around the park serving hot Christmas food and drinks and it has a really special atmosphere at Christmas.
